FRANK Water

FRANK Water is a Bristol based charity with a big impact. We save lives through funding innovative and sustainable clean water projects in communities in India. We use appropriate and effective filtration to remove both biological and chemical contaminants to provide safe, clean drinking water for thousands below the poverty line. As a basic human need it is easy to take safe water for granted, but as a triathlete you will know the importance of clean water more than most.



This is why we do what we do...

• Nearly a billion people don't have access to safe water for their basic needs of drinking, cooking and cleaning,
• Nearly 4 million people a year die from water related diseases,
• Millions of women and children spend several hours a day collecting water from distant, often polluted sources. The average weight of water they carry is 20kg,
• 4,000 children die every day from diarrhoea caused by unclean water and poor sanitation.
